10A 500 per annum payable at 2/- the $ at present, with exchange allowance varying from nil when $4/48. to 20% when $ = 2/6d. or less.
Rent allowance or rented quarters in accordance with Regulations (practically equivalent to deduction of 6% from salary for quarters rented with approval of
Government).
Conveyance allowance $360 per annum.
Free passages on appointment and (at present) on coming on leave.
On probation for three years. If then made permanent 4% of salary will be deducted for Widows' and Orphans' pensions.
